Great shoes for my 6 year old son, who is tough on shoes. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 star rating is the shoe laces. They are very thin and way too long for a kids shoe. So, they knot easily and stay knotted and hes always stepping on them. Other than Im very happy with them.

I have small wide feet. Can wear 6-6.5 for sizes depending on width. When i tried these on i was surprised my toes were not squished across the widest part, as what usually happens. I have a pair of adidas kanadia 4 ones that have gone through a season of obstacle races and nimerous washes but are still a bit tight across. Still good for training and short races. Got these because ill be doing a super and beast race this year and dont want my toes smooshed for hours. Will update review after ive worn them for a while. But as of now they fit nice on my wide feet at size 6.5(w)

I just got these.. so cant comment too much on the wear... I did wear them all day in the house and went to the gym - did weights - so didnt use them extensively or for hiking/running yet. They are a bit stiff - which I was expecting - Im planning on using them for hiking.I wear a 6.5 to 7, and I bought a 7, and they fit good... with just little toe room, but they feel like theyll work fine. They dont look as nice as I thought (based on picture in amazon), but they are ok. I was disappointed, because I ordered the black with purple trim, and they sent me the Solar Blue trim - these have a white sole against the black, so they dont look as nice, and the blue isnt what I ordered, but now the purple isnt in my size, so not returning. Seems like a small jab to say you dont like b/c of the color - but I ordered purple, didnt want the blue.

I am doing the Camino in Spain next month walking 150 miles + and was looking for a good GTX Waterproof Hiking Shoe. I am normally a 8.5 in womens regular shoes, but a 9 here. These shoes are FIRM, not squishy, which is what Id think you want for any distance and the tread is great and nubby for hills and rocks. They are anti-roll, I could have rolled my ankle 2x today and was "caught and righted by the shoe". Despite the material, they actually breathe well even with the heavier wool socks. We did 9.5 miles of very hilly terrain today here in Oakland and they were quite comfortable and stiff. Stiff is not a bad thing. I felt supported and that I could keep going in them. If I werent looking for a waterproof shoe, I would probably go for something a little more forgiving, but being I can only take 1 pair, these will be the ones, rain or shine.

I am a mountain ultra trail runner. I go through about 4 to 6 pairs of shoes per year. For several years I have been running in the Adidas Terrex Fast R GTX shoes. I love them! So I was very excited to try the Swift. However, I was disappointed. The Swift gives the flexibility of a running shoe as promised. However, the toe box is so narrow that, for the first time in 10 years I have gotten blisters, and, after my last race, lost toenails, which is new for me. Adidas is heading in the right direction with these trail runners, but the narrow for sent me back to the Fast R, which is tried and true for running the rugged terrain of the Long Trail in Vermont and technical mountain races. I would love to see the fit of the Swift improve without losing the flexibility of a running shoe.

I think these would probably be comfortable for most people, however I have duck feet. I have narrow heels and a wide toe box. These made my little toes go numb and my little toe and second small toe cramped up almost instantly. I couldnt even walk around in the house in them. I cant imagine trying to work out in them. I typically wear a 9, and these were a little snug. Although I have pretty flat feet, I think these would have good arch support for most people. I could definitely feel the arch. It wasnt uncomfortable, but noticeable. Also, the color shipped was not the color I ordered. In the picture, the shoes I ordered were coral with grey stripes. What showed up where grey with coral stripes. Not a big deal...but if you have your heart set on a specific color you might be bummed when your shoes arrive.
